Welcome Home



658 S Clearwater Falls Dr, Layton.
Welcome to 658 S Clearwater Falls Dr in Layton!  It is a pleasure to be able to show you around this fantastic home and hope that you'll be interested in calling it your own very soon.

Clearwater Cove is a planned community of town homes located on the border of Layton and Kaysville.  The homes in this subdivision were built progressively throughout the early 2000s and this home, at 658 S Clearwater Falls, is one of the final units that was finished by the Adams Company in 2008.  We have been the only owners and have had a pet-free, smoke-free home.

658 is located at the back (East end) of the subdivision, away from Main Street traffic and noise.  The home faces East and sits on the corner lot of a dead end street- no through traffic at this house!  This end unit offers ample exterior space, making the house feel like a free-standing home.

Part of the appeal of Clearwater Cove is the natural creek that runs through the subdivision.  The slow-moving creek at Clearwater Cove runs immediately through the back yard of this home and can be overheard while sitting on the patio or can be watched from the quaint yard area in the back.

658 is a two level design as opposed many of the three-level structures in the community, allowing for a more open plan and fewer stairs.  The partially exposed/raised basement allows for ample light to enter the downstairs living area through large windows. 

658 S Clearwater Falls is also a 2500 square foot home, one of the largest finishes in the Clearwater Cove community.  Its three bedrooms and three full bathrooms offer the perfect ratio of private living areas to open gathering places.  It has a single car garage and is located near the community's additional parking areas for guests or visitors.

658 was finished with all of the special touches that a homeowner would desire.  Careful selection of paint, hardware and home finishings have ensured a neutral tone that can accommodate any style.  The entire home is finished in an off-white paint scheme with white doors and window seals, giving it a polished, two-tone feel.  The entire house is custom fitted with 2" blinds on every window.  The ceilings throughout the home are raised, offering an open, airy feeling whether upstairs or down.  There are upgrades throughout the home, from carpet padding to hardware finishes.  Some of the additional features of the house are described below:

Living Area
The first thing that you'll notice when walking into 658 are the stunning archways leading into and out of the main floor living area.  These subtle finishes add a level of sophistication and interest to this home that you wouldn't otherwise find and also allow for a very fluid, open feel to exist between the living and dining areas.  The main floor living area contains a large gas fireplace with a beautiful alder mantle, multiple windows for ample light and thick carpeting adding to the comfort of this spacious room.  A large ceiling fan centers the room at its head.

The kitchen has recessed lighting staggered throughout the cooking space and a chandelier hangs over the dining area.  The door in the kitchen leads out to the deck/patio area, a perfect transition point for outdoor cooking and dining.

 Master Suite
The master suite is located at the back of the house, overlooking the back yard and creek.  This large room has a walk-in closet ceiling fan and a recessed nook, perfect for a reading chair or additional furniture.  The spacious room has ample space for a king-sized bed and multiple pieces of sizable furniture.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom.  The master bath contains a separate shower and large soaking tub as well as ample open space.  The bathroom, as the rest of the house, is finished in neutral, light tones offering a bright, open feeling.

Second Bedroom
The second bedroom is also located at the rear of the house, opposite from the master suite.  The room currently serves as a nursery but does not sport any radical wall coloring or paint.  This room contains the same neutral tones as the rest of the home.

The second bedroom, like the master, contains a large picture window and a closet with built-in shelving.  This room is wired for phone and could serve as a spacious office or den.




Between the master bedroom and the second bedroom, this home features main-floor laundry services.  The large closet space has built-in shelving and ample room for large washer and dryer.

Second Bathroom
The main floor also contains a second bathroom.  The bathroom, like the master, has a marble counter top and solid-piece shower surround.  The cabinetry and light-colored linoleum floor allow this bathroom a bright, roomy feel.

The second bathroom has multiple lighting fixtures - overhead and over the mirror.  It is finished with brushed nickle accessories.




















Basement Family Room
One of the highlights on this incredible home is the 600 sq ft living room area in the basement.  Wired for surround sound and finished with entertaining in mind, you will not find another home with this incredible space in the Clearwater Cove subdivision.

The room has deep, marble window sills and a view of the backyard.  This main room was finished with a closet for storage and thick carpet padding for comfort.

This space is optimal for entertaining family or can be sub-divided into an office area, entertainment area or even the addition of another bedroom is desired.  This space is fantastic and a must-see.

Storage Room
Another of the highlights of the lower level is the custom storage room.  This room was built to contain the "stuff" that we all have that needs to be organized and stored.  With custom, built-in shelving lining the room and carpet lining the floor, this is a comfortable room for craft storage, holiday decor or any extras that may be floating around the house.


In addition to the custom-built storage room, this home also features a cold storage area off the third bedroom.  This area is large enough to house a freezer and shelving.


Third Bathroom
The basement is finished with a third full bathroom.  The same care and custom finishes are included in the third bathroom; it also contains a marble, seamless counter top and sink and shower surround.



Third Bedroom
The third and final bedroom finishes off the basement and is located at the front or East end of the house.  The bedroom is large and adjacent to the third bathroom, down a short hallway from the main living area.  It's location and size makes for a perfect guestroom or office.
